PM-JAY cashless treatment

If the family has an Ayushman card and the hospital is empanelled, treatment is cashless up to ₹5 lakh. Walk into the hospital with the Ayushman card, complete the pre-authorisation with the medical certificate, and the hospital handles the rest.

Rashtriya Arogya Nidhi (RAN)

For BPL patients with life-threatening illnesses requiring treatment beyond ₹5 lakh, the District Collector forwards the application along with the medical certificate to the Ministry of Health for sanction. Processing takes 4–8 weeks.
